Watson House emerge champions of Aggrey Memorial School competition

Cape Coast, Feb 6, GNA - Watson House bagged 122 points to lift the championship trophy at the 64th annual Inter-Houses Athletics competition of the Cape Coast Aggrey Memorial Zion Secondary School at the week-end.

Pinako House took the second position with 102 1/2 points with Enchil and Casely-Hayford Houses placing third and fourth with 43 and 38 1/2 points in that order.

In the Girls' Division, Lucille House came first with 89 points, New House placed second with 65 1/2 points and Segbefia and Katherine Aikins Houses had 56 1/2 had 31 points respectively.

The assistant headmaster of the School, Mr Kofi Essien commended the students for their sportsmanship and discipline and urged the selected athletics chosen to represent the School at the Zonal Schools competition to strive hard to win laurels for the School. Certificates were awarded to outstanding athletes.
