Kotoko will launch a bid to reclaim the Ghana Premier League title like a monster 'Kakai', the club's deputy spokesman Ali Maradona has warned.
Bookmakers have tipped the Porcupine Warriors as the huge favourites to win the domestic top-flight this season.
The record Ghanaian title holders have augmented their squad with the acquisition of several high-profile players ahead of the new season.
The club has vowed to reclaim the league crown with Medeama coach Tom Strand conceding the biggest Ghanaian club hold the aces to win the ultimate diadem.
Kotoko's deputy communication's director, Ali Maradona has warned the club will launch a bid for the league title like monster ' Kakai'.
"We are not joking about winning the league title. We are extremely serious about it," he told Accra-based Adom FM
"There are plans to ensure we conquer every team.
"I must admit it's not going to be easy but nothing is easy.
"We are Kotoko and we're coming like 'Kakai'."
'Kakai' which literally translate monster, is a famous Ghanaian song released by controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
