Captain Amos Frimpong says Asante Kotoko will be the team to beat this season in the Ghana Premier League after an impressive showcase in Libya.
The Porcupine Warriors have been praised for their decent performances against Al Ittihad Tripoli in a two-legged friendly.
Kotoko lost the first leg 2-1 and then produced a stirred up display three days later with a 0-0 draw.
Frimpong, who together with his colleagues arrived home on Saturday night, says they cannot wait for the league to start.
"We have done a lot of work so far with encouraging results. Based on that I can say we are ready for the new season," the utility defender told Asantekotokosc.com.
