Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi has re-iterated that there is no strained relationship between the federation and the sports ministry.

Two recent cases have nourished the feeling that there is some under current between the two bodies.

Members of the Ghana FA had to buy tickets to watch last month’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique in Accra.

Also, the Football Association’s exclusion in the winning bonus negotiation which led to a 20% cut created huge suspicion of a “cold war.”

But Nyantakyi insists they have a perfect working relationship.

"We have a cordial relationship. We don’t have any problem with the Ministry of Youth and Sports,” Nyantakyi told Accra-based Happy FM

"We are not politicians, we are running football so any minister who comes, we will work with him so I can assure all Ghanaians that we don’t have any problem with the ministry of youth and sports.

"Any minister who wants clarification on matters, he can find out form us and I will explain things to him.

"We have nothing to hide because the GFA is very transparent for all to see."
