Ghana deputy skipper Kwadwo Asamoah has revealed that Ghana have gathered enough experience from their inability to lift the AFCON trophy and will be guided by that to end the wait in Egypt.
Ghana drew 2-2 with Benin in their opening game of the competition and Asamoah believes the team will take lessons from that game to beat the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon on Saturday.
“The people in Ghana trust us, we learned a lot from the previous game and we will play a good game,” Kwadwo Asamoah noted at the pre-match press conference.
The Inter Milan midfielder added that each game has its own dynamics and their approach to Cameroon’s clash will be different from that of Benin.
“Each match is different and we have prepared to face Cameroon very well.
“We are always favorites to win the title and we are trying to prove that by beating Cameroon,” he added.
