Hearts of Oak CEO, Mark Noonan has called on supporters of the club to ignore news making rounds in the media which suggest that the Premier League side has hired a German coach to take over from caretaker coach Seth Hoffman.

With the Ghana Premier League indefinitely suspended due to the recent exposé by Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Hearts of Oak have been playing a series of friendly games to stay in shape with the hope that the League will resume soon enough.

Hearts of Oak have not been impressive in their friendly games and after the defeat to rivals Asante Kotoko recently, calls grew that the Phobians must find a substantive coach to replace Seth Hoffman who was promoted from the junior team, Auroras.

In the last couple of days, reports have been rife that Management of Hearts have finalized a deal to bring in a renowned German coach who will also act as the Technical Director of the club.

Credence has been given to the story because of the recent visit of Mark Noonan to German side Bayern Munich where a partnership between the German football giants and Hearts of Oak was agreed.

But reacting to the news of appointing a German coach, Mark Noonan said it is totally false and should be disregarded.

“Good morning Hearts of Oak family, I can confirm that we hosted a productive stakeholders meeting yesterday. But, do NOT believe news circulating on platforms and media unless it comes from official sources. For example, we have not hired a German coach. Stay tuned here”. Mark Noonan tweeted.

Mark Noonan, an experienced football administrator from the United States has been brought in to restructure hearts of Oak and make it the club of choice for top talents in Ghana and Africa.
