Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey is optimistic about the Black Stars' chances of beating Mali in the 2026 World Cup qualifier in Bamako.
The Black Stars come up against a Mali side who are yet to lose a game at home in their last six matches.
Ahead of the game, Partey is confident that the Black Stars can win the game on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
"We have to do our best to stop Mali, stop their best players, and concentrate on the way we play to get the result we want," Partey stated.
Although Partey has not played recently for the Black Stars, he is hoping to bring his wealth of experience to the team.
"I know I haven't played recently for the team, but I have played a lot of matches for the Black Stars since my debut. I know the system the coach wants, and I have the experience to help the young group of players to get the kind of result we want," he added.
A win will be crucial in Ghana's quest for a World Cup appearance in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
