George Amoako, Asante Kotoko chairman
Asante Kotoko chairman George Amoako wants to guard against complacency going into their CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Kotoko for the first time since 2008 will play in the money zone of the Confederation Cup after beating Coton Sport from Cameroon in a two-legged tie.
Their sweet play and amazing results recorded in the preliminary stage has given hope to many.
But George Amoako wants the fans to measure their expectations.
"I am proud of the team and what we are doing but we just have to keep our focus and not be complacent," he said
"Reaching the group stage is good for us and i believe we will do well but we must be careful and look at how things will go.
"We don't have to put pressure on ourselves because that won't help us in anyway."
Asante Kotoko are in Group C with Nkana FC, Zesco all from Zambia and Al Hilal from Sudan.
