We must attack Liberty as a team - C.K Akonnor

Head coach of Dreams FC, Charles Kwablan Akonnor says his team will tackle Liberty Professionals as a team rather than focus on their in-form playmaker Latif Blessing.

Dreams travel to Dansoman to play Liberty in their next Premier League fixture after losing 1-2 to Medeama last Sunday.

But he conceded that his players must work hard to win against a Liberty side he described as “A very good side who will be coming out to win.”

In an interview with the Graphic Sports yesterday the former Black Stars skipper said: “I don’t think we will focus on only Latif because there are other dangerous players in their team who can punish us”.

“We must tackle them as a team, and I think we must work hard to secure victory on Sunday,” Akonnor contended.

On their last game against Medeama, Akonnor said his side started the game brightly but lost their momentum in the latter part of the game which caused them their lead.
