Mohammed Polo has urged fans of Hearts of Oak not to be dismissive of new coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.
The Japanese is weeks into his new appointment as the substantive replacement for Herbert Addo on a two-year contract.
Some fans, however, remain critical and pessimistic of the ability of Yatsuhashi to successfully lead the side in the coming campaign.
But former Hearts coach, Mohammed Polo says he will rather wait for the start of the season before passing judgment on the new coach.
“I will give the coach the benefit of the doubt for now,” he said. “Let us wait to see how good he is when the season starts.
“You cannot be dismissive of a coach until you see him work so I will rather wait.”
