Kotoko assistant coach Michael Osei wants his side to begin the season on a bright note.
Osei is looking forward to his side clinching the double this season after failing to retain both the League title and MTN FA Cup trophy last season.
The Porcupine Warriors were dethroned as the League Champions after finishing second in the 2014/15 Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko further lost to Medeama SC in the MTN FA Cup finals.
Michael Osei who led the side to win the 2014 MTN FA Cup wants his team to start the season on a good not.
“We have to start the season on a good note by trying to win most of our games in the early part of the League,” he told Ghanasportsonline.com in an interview.
“If we really want to do wel we just have to start the season well. Because as time goes on things become much tougher, so it is very important to begin well.”
“Just like two seasons ago when we begun very well and ended well by winning the double and that is what we want to repeat this time.”
The former National team player led Kotoko to defeat Ghana’s 1992 silver medal winning team in a friendly game to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the 1965 Cup of Nations winning team.
