Hearts’ Portuguese interim coach, Sergio Traguil, has mentioned that his team is well psyched up and in the right condition to annex the 2015/16 league title.
The Phobians have been the surprise package of the season, after a poor pre-season under former coach Kenichi Yatsuashi but, their fortunes turned quickly. Recently, they recorded their first defeat away at Sogakope against West African Football Academy (WAFA).
It is their (Hearts’) home form that has seen them crawl, instead of racing to the league title they have not won since the 2008/09 season.
But the Portuguese coach believes his side is now, after their 1-1 result against Wa All Stars, conditioned to break that jinx.
“All Stars have conceded just one goal all season at home and that makes me happy we picked up a point, though it is not the result we wished for,” he told the media in his post-match interview.
“All conditions to get into first place and eventually win the league title has been put in place and my players are well-conditioned too as I have faith and believe in their ability.
“And I dare say, we are well-conditioned to win the league,” he added.
Hearts can move into second place or first with a home win against Tema-based Inter Allies.
