Bechem United Chief Executive Officer Nana Kwasi Darlington claims the 2019/20 league season should be not be cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
All football leagues in the country have been halted since mid-March due to the pandemic as part of measures to help curb the spread of the disease.
The return of the topflight remains uncertain with opinions divided as to whether it should be continued or cancelled.
The German Bundesliga became the first topflight to resume football since the outbreak of the disease and other leagues such as the English Premier League, LaLiga and Serie A are expected to follow suit in June.
"We should not end the league because of the COVID-19, but we should continue. I won't opt for cancellation, or it being truncated," he told Opemsuo Sports in an interview.
"We should copy what Germany and England are doing since the deadly disease has come to stay with us," he concluded.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has said it will wait until at least June 30 to make a decision on the future of the league.
The 2019/20 Premier League was at its match week 15 stage when it was halted with Aduana Stars leading the table with 28 points.
