The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association on Wednesday paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Prof. Mike Ocquaye, and the Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth Sports and Culture.
The meeting was part of the GFA’s ongoing engagements with key stakeholders, and the visit to Parliament was particularly aimed it introducing the GFA Executive Council members and its President to Parliament, as well as to discuss with the Select Committee important issues of concern.
"The leadership of the GFA led by president Kurt Okraku met us. He touched on issue of transparency,development of colts football,branding of the national teams and the campaign to bring back the love. We led him to the speaker and the leadership of the house." he told Kumasi Fm.
"We urged them to follow their program of activities accordingly and also be guided by things that has happened in the past. We advised them to go back for past commission of enquiry reports to serve as a guide to them."
