The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak has denied reports of appointing Kempes Papa Nii Ofosuoware as their new Managing Director (MD).
Impeccable sources within the club have revealed that the club’s Board of Directors are yet to meet to scrutinize applications before naming a new MD after Sunday’s game against Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League.
“We heard the news this morning and we did not know where it was coming from. The board is yet to sit over who replaces Odotei so let’s just wait for management to decide,” our sources revealed.
Former acting MD, Vincent Sowah Odotei, who is the Member of Parliament for La Dadekotopon, was keen on carrying on with his job until he was recently appointed Deputy Minister of Communication; so resigned.
Meanwhile, fans of the club are calling for a full time football administrator and a younger person as such, to be employed for the role.
