We will focus on Youth Development - GTF General Secretary

The General Secretary of the of Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF), Madam Philipa Frimpong, has said his ooutfit will focus on youth development in the country, in a bid to chart a bright future for the sport.

In an interview with the sportscrusader, she said “We need to train the youth in the sports to enable us stand a chance of making it to international tournament like the Olympic and the Davis Cup, because their development will help them compete effectively in their respective categories”.

She added that most programs of the GTF will be centered on the theme of youth development. She therefore entreated corporate Ghana to come on board to support various programs of the Association.

She also emphasized about the need for this development, which will in a long run enable them gain ranking points to participate in various championship.
