Black Queens forward Abdulai Mukarama is eager to make her debut for the senior women's national team ahead of the international friendly against Japan.
The Black Queens will travel to Tokyo next week to face the former world champions as part of their preparations for next year's Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
Mukarama, who led Hasaacas Ladies to success in the women's league, was rewarded with an invite to the Black Queens ahead of the trip to Tokyo.
According to Mukarama, the team is ready to give their best against the women's football powerhouse.
"It will be a good exercise for us because we've really been working hard to get to the highest level of women's football, and Japan is one of the teams that we are looking forward to playing against," she told the media during training in Accra.
"We will show up and put out our best because it is friendly, so we are not emphasizing the result but to see how we are going to work and to see what the coach expects us to do in a match," she added.
