Black Satellites' coach, Sellas Tetteh is preoccupied with showcasing Africa to the world when his side clash Nigeria at the semi finals of the African You Championship (AYC), in Dakar on Wednesday.

Ghana and Nigeria will clash in what is branded " the final before the finals" after the latter came second in Group B to meet their perennial rivals who topped their group.

He said that "Games between Ghana and Nigeria are intensive though we are friendly because we are neighbours. This will be difficult but we will showcase Africa very well.

"The results, the winner will be important but I hope both teams come out to entertain soccer fans. We need to showcase Africa to the world and we are prepared and ready for this moment."

Ghana and Nigeria have met six times at this stage with the Black Satellites prevailing four times.

"It could go a full length, extra time and maybe penalties but what really we must do is showcase the continent. I take every game as it comes and always try to give a good showing as a coach and also for my team to give a good impression.

" Nigeria is my home too. I know I will have to express myself and my team will have to express themselves and the better and the lucky side should win and then we get going."

Tetteh refused to the assertion his side will play as underdogs insisting, "We are not underdogs. I am not trying to emphasise on rivalry but good football. Nigeria have cohesion because most of their players graduated from the U-17. We played two friendlies with them and we know them and we are well prepared.

"Our mental fortitude will have to be strong. Nigeria have advantage over the usage of the field but we will be ready in the face of challenges we face."

The winner will meet that of Senegal and Mali fixed for Thursday.
