Medeama SC goalkeeper Eric Ofori says taking a salary cut will affect players and their families.
The Covid-19 pandemic is gradually affecting various sectors massively worldwide.
In Ghana the discussion continues as to whether local clubs should take this up especially considering how much they pay their players.
Several players have already expressed their opinion the issue, the latest player to wade into the debate is Medeama SC goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi.
Antwi disagreed with the call for salary cut insisting it will affect them and their families.
” I will be very surprised if our management accept pay cut. Most of us take care of our families. It’s not going to be easy should management take that decision.” He told Kumasi FM.
Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed is the only player to have publicly support the idea of pay cut to help club remain financially stable in the midst of this Coronovirus.
