We will take legal action against all falsehood peddlers - Kotoko warns

The Management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has indicated that they will not hesitate to take legal action against persons and organizations that spread lies about the club in a bid to tarnish the image of the team in any way.

According to the management of the Reds, they have cited allegations made by Silver FM Sports Presenter Edmund Osafo Addo. The club explains that Osafo Addo has speculated that they have presented falsified documents to the Prof. Nkansah committee which has been tasked by Manhyia to investigate the dealings of the club.

While describing the claims as bogus, the Kotoko management says they have no intention of misleading the investigative committee.

“Asante Kotoko remains a corporate institution and will not indulge in the falsification of documents let alone attempt to mislead the eminent committee", the club statement in its statement.

It continued, “Management has absolute faith in the Prof. Nkansah Committee and believes that the outcome of their findings will serve the interest of the club.

“Management further states that it will not hesitate to take legal action against any individual or organization that peddles falsehood to taint the reputation of the club”.
