Well Done Milo, Sulley Muntari Can Go To ...

Hell!!!

Sulley Muntari had consistently proven beyond any reasonable doubt that he is above the country Ghana and therefore has no respect for mother Ghana. In fact if indiscipline, arrogant and disrespect for one’s country were to be an honor, Sulley Muntari would have received the highest honor of the land. No wonder, his mother believes in her wildest dream that the entire national team rest on Sulley’s shoulders and that” NO SULLEY NO BLACK STARS”

A country that has made him who he is today, has unfortunately become a door-mat to him and the mother. In case Sulley has forgotten his days in Konongo where he had no dream of owning a passport let alone travel abroad, mother Ghana made it happen for him. He should ask Painstil why he is so dedicated to the national team. The fact is Painstil understands how the National team helped him break into the English Premiership after being given the chance to play in the 2006 world cup. In deed, a player must make a certain number of appearances for his national team before he can play in the English premiership. Sulley would have been no body had Ghana not selected him to represent it at the under 17 world cup and proceeded to the Black Stars. Without a doubt all these players rode on the back of the national team for their personal success and therefore the least they should do is to show absolute respect and commitment to the course of the national team. Richard Kingston was almost gone “down the drain” until his career was revived by the opportunity he had to be part of the 2006 world cup team.

Moreover, there are many instances where world class players like Goerge Oppong Wiah who won the best European player for two year run, single handedly sponsored and play for his national team without a coin. Samuel E’toe, Didier Drogba among others have shown unconditional loyalty to their countries. The question therefore is how much more Sulley Muntari?

His “madness” started during the preparation towards Ghana Benin match at Kumasi when the team met with the then sports minister Mubarrack, but because of politics the minister was rather blamed for Sulley’s disrespect to the entire country. And as if that was not enough the girlfriend attacked a police officer for performing his legal duty just in the name of over pampered Sulley Muntari, yet Ghanaians supported the untouchable, but thank God Ghanaians are now prepared to hold the bull by the horn and tell Sulley that after all he is nobody as far as Ghana soccer is concerned.

I am not trying to be harsh on him but to let him know that no individual is bigger than GHANA! In fact I will rather go on my knee if Micheal Essien decides not to play for Ghana. Muntari is struggling at Inter and wonder why Milovan always want to invite him when a limping Kwadwo Asamoah, Derick Boateng and Eric Bekoe are at anytime better than him.

If he does not respect Ghana, we should let him know that we also feel disgraced that he is a Ghanaian. It is better to have one dedicated and loyal to the course of mother Ghana than to have a million, indiscipline players and the earlier we remove him from the team the better for us, before he infect the young players with his arrogance.

Sulley should learn from players like Emmanuel Armah(Senegal) and Nii Noi Dowena whose trade mark was indiscipline and arrogant.

In conclusion, I will urge Milovan to stamp his authority and wipe out any trace of indiscipline in the team. He should not allow the out of form and arrogant players who think they can feed all Ghanaians to derail his ambition of putting Ghana at its rightful place in the world soccer map. long live Ghana football, Long live Ghana,
