Hearts of Oak has decided to end their pursuit of Dreams FC goalkeeper Solomon Agbesi, according to sources.

Agbesi, who had an impressive campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup last season, is reportedly more interested in moving abroad than joining the Ghanaian giants.

In addition to his preference for an overseas move, Agbesi has sustained an injury that will rule him out of action for several weeks.

Given these developments, Hearts of Oak will now shift their focus to acquiring Benjamin Asare and Andrews Owusu from Accra Lions.

Both goalkeepers posted double figures in clean sheets during the recently concluded season and are considered excellent additions to the goalkeeping department of the Continental Club Masters for the upcoming season.

Benjamin Asare has already been spotted at Pobiman, participating in training sessions with what appears to be his soon-to-be teammates.

The Phobians are scheduled to play arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the Democracy Cup at a later date.
