“Your position is well catered for,” were the words Michael Osei whispered into the ears of Abeiku Ainooson about his future at Kotoko prior the Porcupine Warriors MTN FA Cup round of 16 encounter with Storm Academy.

Abeiku Ainooson’s season long loan move to Al Hilal of Sudan was terminated after the club failed to reach the group stages of the CAF Champions League.

He returned to club and has been training with his teammates, but the management is reluctant to register him for the second round of the season.

According to Sportscrusader.com sources, interim coach Michael Osei told Abeiku Ainooson prior to the Porcupine Warriors MTN FA Cup game against Storm Academy that his position is well covered and advised him to look elsewhere for playing time.

The management has held talks with the former GPL best defender and his suitors Dreams FC over a possible loan agreement for the rest of the season.

It is believed Abeiku has a close relationship with the owners of Dreams FC, and a move to the Kweiman-based club is thought to be a perfect marriage.
