Winful Cobbinah will not join any local club shoud to leave Hearts
Hearts of Oak midfield dynamo Winful Cobbinah says he is not ready to commit to any other local club should he decide to leave his current employers.
Cobbinah joined the Phobians on a two-year-deal as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Saudi Arabian Al Najran.
The 26-year-old instantly became a key figure for the club with his breathtaking displays, which caught the attention of some clubs on the local scene as well as abroad.
However, the silky enforcer has categorically stated that it will be difficult to join other local club if his contract with Hearts of Oak expires next season.
“Prior to the end of last season, I heard so many stories about some clubs chasing my signature, but I knew that it wasn’t going to happen” Cobbinah told FootballMadeInGhana.com
“It will be difficult to play for another local side even if I don’t get a foreign deal in the remaining one year left in my contract with Hearts of Oak.”
Cobbinah was instrumental for the Black Stars B when they clinched the 2017 WAFU Cup tournament title.
