Italian Serie B side Empoli are looking forward to sign Ghana international Afriyie Acquah before the start of the season.
Empoli manager Aurelio Andreazzoli is making daring attempts to lure the 26-year-old from Torino.
Afriyie Acquah could shockingly accept the offer to join the Serie B side following the tempting offer involved.
The midfielder remains a big part of the Tornio squad ahead of the new season, but with Empoli’s plan to return to the Serie A, the Club will be keen to add-up to their squad by signing the experienced midfielder who has enjoyed successful stints with several Italian Clubs including Sampdoria and Parma and Palermo.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Empoli have made the former Ghana U20 star their prime target in the summer transfer window.
Torino in January rejected an offer from English Championship side Birmingham City who were keen to sign the player from the Italian Club.
