KIM COLLINS(SKN) finished sixth in 10.07 ahead of 1998 junior champion CHRISTIAN MELCOLM(GBR) in a personal best of 10.11 and Olympic finalist AZIZ ZAKARI(GHA) in 10.24.
For a fleeting moment yesterday, it looked as if Donovan Bailey might have earned another chance to show them he deserved at least their respect. With many cynics doubting he could make it through the first round, because of his knee problems, Bailey’s qualification from the quarter finals was little short of amazing.
