The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has confirmed that Ghana’s squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup will be announced on June 1, 2026.
He is also calling on Ghanaians to keep supporting the players ahead of the tournament.
Kurt Okraku said this while speaking with confidence about the Black Stars, stressing the need for unity and encouragement as preparations continue for the World Cup.
He explained that the technical team is still watching the performances of Ghanaian players in Europe and other countries before making the final team selection.
“The World Cup squad announcement is scheduled for June 1st. Let’s maintain our collective support for our stars,” the GFA President stated.
