Medeama are determined to sign Asante Kotoko midfielder Yahaya Mohammed for the coming season as they look set to grab one of the slots to play in Africa.
Mohammed, who was on loan at Amidaus Professionals, put up a stellar performance in the just ended season. He has declared his intension not to play for the Porcupine Warriors.
“We are very much interested in Yahaya Mohammed as he is a top quality player who can help the course of our club Medeama SC,” a member of the club’s management told Goal Ghana.
“We will hold talks with him and we will take it from there, he is our number one transfer target.”
Norwegian giants Stromgodset are also in serious direct talks to sign the player whilst Al Ahly and Zamalek are also said to be interested.
The 23-year-old midfielder has previously played for Tema Youth, French side OJ Nice, Wa All Stars and RTU and he is rated as one of the most talented players in the Ghana local league.
