Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed says he is delighted to have pinched his first ever career hat-trick after helping Aduana Stars dismantle miserable travelers Hasaacas 4-0 on Wednesday.
The former OG Nice striker scored three times to send the thousands that had gathered at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park to unimaginable excitement.
The hat-trick was coincidentally the first one for the Aduana Stars as a club since their promotion to the top tier in 2010 and also his first as a professional footballer.
“I am happy to have scored my first career hat-trick,” Yahaya Mohammed told Accra-based Happy FM
“It’s the first time an Aduana Stars player has scored a hat-trick, and I am happy for that.”
“I am even more happy that we picked up all three points on the day.”
"We had a slow start to the season but now we are really making it, and that is very impressive."
Aduana are now 9th on the league table having picked up 10 points from their first eight games of the season
