Midfielder Yahaya Mohammed says he is determined to give off his best for the remainder of his contract with his club Asante Kotoko.
The 2014 CHAN star grabbed the headlines two weeks ago after sneaking out of the country to sign a pre-contract for Libyan side Ittihad Tripoli with six months left on his contract.
He has been accused by Kotoko for deceiving them and absconding to Libya to sign for his future club.
Kotoko have reported his behavior to the Ghana Football Association for going AWOL after missing training for the past two weeks.
“For me I was injured when I came back I reported myself to the team and I know I have done nothing wrong and am ready to see out my contract with Kotoko,” Mohammed told Accra-based Happy FM.
“I am left with just six months with the club and as a professional I will see it through before I do anything else.”
