Black Stars defender, Yakubu Abubakari has ended his term with Dutch champions, Ajax Amsterdam with the club agreeing to release him out to another Dutch club.
Yakubu would now be joining another Ghanaian international, Matthew Amoah at Vitesse Arnhem.
Vitesse Arnhem are reported to have reached a deal with Ajax regarding a loan move for Abubakari Yakubu.
Yakubu had been tipped to move from the Amsterdam ArenA and his exit seemed to have been confirmed much earlier after he failed to report for training on the first day.
Ajax coach, Ronald Koeman is reported unfazed by Yakubu's absence, with the Ghanaian defender not part of his plans for the coming season.
Koeman, a former Ajax and Dutch defender is said to have sanctioned Yakubu?s move to the Gelredome.
Though Yakubu is yet to agree personal terms with his new club, Vitesse have confirmed that a deal has been struck with Ajax.
According to Vitesse, they are just waiting to thrash out minor details with the 22-year-old player before announcing his signing.
