Yaw Preko worked as deputy to coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi
Information gathered by Happyghana.com indicates that Yaw Preko has rejected the Hearts of Oak assistant coach position.
Yaw Preko was contacted by management of the club on 31 December, 2019 to inform him about the vacant role which he declined.
According to our source, interim coach Nii Odoom contacted Yaw Preko to also convince him to accept the job before meeting the board.
The former U-20 coach has rejected the appointment and Happy Sports can state that Yaw Preko would have taken the role of the head coach position instead of the assistant coach role.
Yaw Preko was deputy to former coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi before leaving the club to join Nigerian club FC IfeanyiUbah.
