Samuel Yeboah has completed his move to Israeli giants Beitar Jerusalem.

The 24-year-old striker signed a one-year with the country’s biggest club to put his career on track.

He moves on loan from Belgian side Genk where he had failed to hold down a first team place.

Yeboah who was rated Israel league’s best scorer two seasons ago left Hapoel Tel Aviv for Genk in January for 700,000 Euros.

But the lack of first team opportunities prompted his agent Dudu Dahan to seek the loan move for the striker to keep him in shape. The Ghanaian international has now vowed to catapult Beitar to the top of the league by scoring goals.

“I am delighted to sign for Beitar Jerusalem. I know this club well becasue I was a player of Hapoel Kfar Saba and Hapoel Tel Aviv,” Yeboah said. “I was positively surprised when I heard Beitar Jerusalem were interested in me. I am happy to come back to Israel to help Beitar Jerusalem.

“I have a great hunger to score goals. I’m waiting for the moment to get to the stadium and excite fans of Beitar.”

In 2008 Yeboah won the league’s top scorer award with 15 goals Hapoel Tel Aviv.
