Ghana Under-20 midfielder, Yaw Yeboah, says he won’t be pressured by the expectations from his countrymen at the 2015 Fifa World Cup.

The 19-year-old won the most valuable player at the Africa Youth Championship held in March – a tournament where his exploits greatly influenced the Black Satellites’ bronze medal feat.

Yeboah, owned by the Right to Dream Academy but already trained with the Manchester City reserves has been widely tipped to explode at the world stage but he is taking things cool.

“I wouldn’t say I’m under pressure. When we went for the African Cup there was no pressure on me. I’m feeling same this time.”

“I’m just going to give out my best and do what the coaches ask me to do. I will just work hard just the way I did at the African cup.”

“I will just go with a free mind, go on the pitch and try to deliver. I am under no pressure at all,” Yeboah said.

Ghana will slug it out with Argentina, Panama and Austria in Group B of the Fifa U-20 World Cup which begins in New Zealand on May 30.
