Representative of Daniel Amartey, Yusif Chibsah has disclosed that his client will leave English side Leicester City in the summer.
Amartey has struggled for playing minutes since recovering from the horror ankle injury that he sustained during the Foxes Premier League game against West Ham United in 2018.
He has fallen down the pecking order at the club and was close to sealing a move to Championship side Fulham FC during the January transfer but the deal collapsed after he suffered another injury which required a surgery.
The versatile defender's representative, Yusif Chibsah has revealed that he is looking to get a new club for his client after falling out of favour under manager Brendan Rodgers.
“Amartey has recovered and we are looking to find new opportunities for him. He’s been out of favour under the new gaffer so we will see how best we can solve that issue,” Chibsah told Starr Sports.
Chibsah added “He is still with the Foxes but he is not been getting more playing time due to the fact that he got injured but after his injury, they consider him as surplus so there should be a way out,” he added.
