Asante Kotoko recovered from a stuttering start to share the spoils 1-1 with Liberty Professionals at the Dansoman Alhaji Sly Tetteh Park on Wednesday in a Zylofon Cash Ghana Premier League week 14 clash.
Former Kotoko fullback Edwin Tuffour Frimpong made Liberty's early dominance count by giving the hosts the lead in the 14th minute.
The defender, who completed his transfer from Kotoko to Liberty last week, made no mistake, calmly slotting home from the spot.
However, Kotoko responded impressively and deservedly drew level when skipper Amos Frimpong converted with aplomb a penalty.
Both teams huffed and puffed but couldn't find the winning goal.
The result means Kotoko are unchanged as the remain fifth on the table while Liberty are 11th.
