Jesse Were : He is no doubt the most dangerous outfield player of Zesco United, thanks to his goal-scoring prowess and pace. He netted three of his side’s five goals against Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa in the playoff and has vowed not to return from Kumasi without a goal.

Anthony Akumu: The playmaker is a midfield powerhouse, who dictates pace and rhythm. He delivers assists as well with his long crosses and also scores goals, with one strike to his credit already in three matches of the competition.

Lazarous Kambole: He is an excellent forward who can disrupt a defensive set up with his openings and run-ins. He was a thorn in the flesh of Kaizer Chiefs in the playoff, contributing to his side’s qualification with one goal and then one against country rivals Nkana in the group stage opener.

Enock Sabumukama: The Burundi international midfielder suffered an injury setback recently, which kept him out of action for one month. He is back and figures on the 18-man squad to face Kotoko on Wednesday. He is expected to be influential as usual.

David Owino: The defender is a rock. He can capably organise his back line and fend off dangers. Kotoko strikers would have to take note.
