Agona Swedru, (C/R), Nov 30, GNA - Agona Fankobaa suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat at the hands of Mensakrom Alpha Stars in their outstanding football league match at Agona Swedru on Tuesday. After settling for a goalless drawn game at half-time, Alpha Stars resumed the second half in a determined fashion to score the opener in the 73rd minute through their mid-fielder, Kobina Gyan. Fankobaa returned the attack and made several efforts to equalize but their hopes were shattered when Alpha Stars substitute player, Eric Etuafful netted two rapid goals in the 81st and 85th minutes to seal the doom of the homesters.
