Cape Coast, Dec. 28 GNA - Royal Lane beat London Bridge 1-0 in a special X'mas soccer match played at Cape Coast Victoria Park to entertain soccer fans on Boxing Day. Royal Lane took home one million cedis as their prize, while London Bridge had 700,000 cedis donated by Mr Egya Essuon, a Cape Coast citizen domiciled in Denmark.

Cape Coast, Dec. 28 GNA - Royal Lane beat London Bridge 1-0 in a special X'mas soccer match played at Cape Coast Victoria Park to entertain soccer fans on Boxing Day. Royal Lane took home one million cedis as their prize, while London Bridge had 700,000 cedis donated by Mr Egya Essuon, a Cape Coast citizen domiciled in Denmark. After the match, the two teams and their supporters were feted with soft drinks amid brass band music and firing of rockets. In a match of equals which was heading to a draw, substitute, Fiabor Kemevor scored the match winner in the 89th minute. Kemevor struck after collecting a pass in the 18 as he rounded up the defenders of London Bridge to slot home the only goal, which turned out to be the match winner.
