Royal Lane took home one million cedis as their prize, while London Bridge had 700,000 cedis donated by Mr Egya Essuon, a Cape Coast citizen domiciled in Denmark.

Royal Lane took home one million cedis as their prize, while London Bridge had 700,000 cedis donated by Mr Egya Essuon, a Cape Coast citizen domiciled in Denmark. After the match, the two teams and their supporters were feted with soft drinks amid brass band music and firing of rockets. In a match of equals which was heading to a draw, substitute, Fiabor Kemevor scored the match winner in the 89th minute. Kemevor struck after collecting a pass in the 18 as he rounded up the defenders of London Bridge to slot home the only goal, which turned out to be the match winner.
