Eagles, Black Stars Match Cost ?450, 000

Chief Executive Officer of OSMI, the organizers of Super Eagles, Black Stars of Ghana friendly, Rotimi Pedro says the game so far has cost his company; 450,000 pounds.

He also said his company has signed the needed contract with the five major stakeholders for the match to kick off in London on February 6. The major parties are the two national teams Nigeria and Ghana, the stadium to be used, the host, English FA and the Police.

The money includes the appearance fees of the two countries, Hotel accommodation, transportation, stadium fee and other expenses.

Mr Pedro also said the match will be the best ever Nigeria vs. Ghana encounter and he hope the 30 thousand plus stadium will be full to capacity. There are thousands and millions of people from the two countries represented in the UK and I hope we fill the stadium.

Ghana has not beaten Nigeria in the past 12 years and the last time the two countries met was the African Nations Cup in Egypt 2006, which the Supper Eagles won by a lone goal.
