Scottish Referee for Ghana-Nigeria game

London, UK -- The international friendly game between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Super Eagles of Nigeria at Brentford's Grifffin Park Stadium, London on Tuesday, February 6 will be officiated by; Iain Brines.

Brines, a Scottish football referee in the Scottish Premier League will be assisted by; Martin Yerby and Steve Artis while Paul Armstrong is the fourth official.


Meanwhile players and officials of both national teams are set to officially arrive today by noon and a press conference have been scheduled at 1pm (GMT) followed by training; Super Eagles at 4pm with Black Stars at 6pm.


According to one of the match organisers; Dennis Tawiah, CEO of D-Vision Network Ltd, they are anticipating a sell-out game. A source from the Super Eagles camp had mentioned earlier to Ghanaweb that tickets from their end have sold out.

The game between the West African traditional rivals has become the most talked about and well anticipated in London. Other match organisers; Justine Addo, Chief Executive Officer of JV2I Consult and Arnold Asafu-Founder and CEO of ClickOnGhana.com are very excited about the turn of events and really looking forward to a huge turnout.


DOYA PAYS A VISIT


Former Black Star Coach; Ratomir Dujkovic (Doya), now the coach of China's Olympic Football Team for the 2008 Games is in London with the Chinese Under 23 team to play against Chelsea reserves. Coach Doya yesterday paid a brief visit to the Black Stars camp and met his successor; Coach Claude Le Roy and officials of the Ghana Football Association.
