Cape Coast, Feb. 3, GNA - St. Augustine's College bagged 84 points to lift the championship trophy in the Central Region Inter Schools and Colleges Super Zonals Athletic competition held at the Schools and Colleges Park at Adisadel in Cape Coast.
Adisadel College took the second position with 70 points followed by Apam Secondary School at the third position with 41 and half points, Cape Coast Technical Institute fourth with 39 points while Obrachire Secondary School came fifth with 36 points.
Andam Secondary School took the sixth position with 34 points, Asuansi Technical Institute was seventh with 29 points, Aggrey Memorial Zion Secondary School eighth with 27 points and Ghana National College was ninth with 23 points while Assin Manso Secondary School came tenth with 20 points.
In the Girls division, Obrachire Secondary School took the championship trophy with 93 points followed by Holy Child Secondary School at the second position with 92 points, Wesley Girls High School third with 59 points and Jukwa Secondary School fourth with 58 points while Apam Secondary School came fifth with 48 points.
Agona Swedru Secondary School came sixth with 47 points, Saltpond Mfantsiman Secondary was seventh with 18 points, Winneba Secondary School took the eighth position with 16 points, Aggrey Memorial Zion Secondary School ninth with 15 points while Agona Swedru SDA came tenth with 14 points.
Cash prizes and certificates were presented to deserving athletes by the various headmasters of the various Schools and Colleges.
