Nigeria's Olympic football team skipper, Promise Isaac has called the bluff of Ghana's Black Meteor's Head Coach, Cecil Jones Attuayefio as regards Sunday's Olympic Games qualifier.

Attuquayefio said Nigeria should forget about the Olympic Games but Isaac insists the Ghanaian is not God and cannot determine the outcome of a match that has not yet been played.

The Genclerbirligi attacker told Radio B.A.R in Sunyani from his base in Turkey that the utterances of Cecil Jones Attuquayefio will spur the Nigerian team to victory when the match is played.

"I read in newspapers online from here (Turkey) that Ghana's coach said we should forget about qualifying for the Olympics since we are playing them on their home ground in Accra. But I tell you that he would be in for the shock of his life because he is not God to determine the outcome of a match that has not been played," he warned.

Isaac boasted about the quality of the Nigerian team.

"What I would say is that with all modesty, Ghana can not compare the quality of players in our fold with their own. So we are better than them in all departments of the game. We should not forget the fact that we did not play with full compliment of our stars away to South Africa which has given Ghana a temporary lead in our group. If we had been fully there we could have beaten South Africa hands down. But not to worry we are determined to correct that mistake in Accra."

Isaac who scored a hat trick recently for his Turkish club having come out of an injury that sidelined him from the opening matches of the Turkish league was of the opinion that only God could determine the outcome of a match, not humans.

"I can assure soccer loving Nigerians that we will pick the three points at stake in Ghana. We only solicit for prayers from all Nigerians so that we can achieve victory in Accra. I can assure you that I have spoken with virtually all the regular players in the team and they have all assured me that the match is a do or die affair and they will shed their last sweat and blood to pick the required three points at stake in Accra. They told me that they don't have any option now than to win the game," he disclosed.
