Accra, Nov 21, GNA - Accra Hearts of Oak, Liberty Professionals and Kpando Heart of Lions would engage in a special tournament dubbed the "NIIT Special Invitational Challenge Cup".
The tournament, the first of its kind to be organized by the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) would commence on Friday, November 23 and end on Sunday, November 25.
A statement signed by Joyce Asante-Amoah, Acting Administrative Manager of GHALCA copied to the GNA Sports said Liberty Professionals will take on Heart of Lions at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park on Friday, November 23, with the winner facing Hearts of Oak in the finals at the El-Wak Stadium on Sunday, November 25. According the statement, a flat rate of 20,000 cedis would be charged at the Carl Reindorf Park, with the match at the El-Wak Stadium attracting 20,000, 30,000 and 50,000 cedis at the various gates. The winner of the three team tournament will take home 100 million cedis as the championship prize money with the second and third placed teams bagging home 50 million cedis and 25 million cedis respectively. 21 Nov. 07
