Accra, Nov. 23, GNA- The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of Ghana 2008, has released gate fees for the matches to be played during the 26th MTN CAN 2008 football tournament at all the four venues.
The prices of tickets, proposed by the LOC in consultation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports, and approved by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), now have the lowest denomination fixed at GH 4 cedis or 40,000 cedis for the goal rear, north and south of all the four stadia.
The east and west of the centre of the stadia will attract a fee of GH 15 or 150,000 cedis while tickets for the VIP area will sell at GH 75 or 750,000 cedis.
The prices, which cut across all the four stadia that are hosting the tournament in Ghana have been accepted by CAF as a "formula that will ensure the popular success of the event."
