Mateo Stars beats Coconut sharks

Cape Coast, Aug. 30 GNA - Sekondi Mateo Stars beat Elmina Coconut Groove Shark 2-0 their Division One League match played at the Robert Mensah sports Stadium a t Cape Coast on. Right from the referees whistle, Mateo took over the attack and went ahead in the 25 minute to score the opener when midfielder, Ernest Arko short ahead with a long range short.

Mateo Stars continued to pile pressure on their opponents and increased their goal tally to two in the 70 minute through centre half Isaac Tanko.

Coconut Sharks threw everything in attack and made several attempts to at least find the equalizer but all their efforts were in vain as they failed to find the net until the full time.
