Kumasi, Dec. 23, GNA - A goal each in the first session was all Kumasi based King Faisal FC and Ashanti Gold could settle for in their 11th Week= Glo Premier League match played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Wednesday.
Faisal scored their goal in the 35th minute through Emmanuel Odoi Nsakie from Prince Arko's in-swinger in a goal mouth melee.
Emmanuel Adjetey leveled up for Ashanti Gold when he hit the back of the net with a header from Owusu Sefa's free kick in the 43rd minute to end the half.
Both teams resumed the second session strongly with Faisal on top but missing several chances that came their way.
The visitors turned the heat on their opponents and nearly scored in=
the 71st minute but Mohammed Aminu, with only goalkeeper Samuel Okyere to=
beat shot into his waiting hands. The Miners wasted two other opportunities in the 87th and 89th minute= s through Adoquaye Addo and Frederick Quayson as they missed their targets to end the match.
