Essipong, (W/R) Dec. 19, GNA - Kessben beat Kumasi King Faisal 2-1 in 15 week 15 Glo Premier League match played at the Sekondi Sports Stadium at Essipong on Sunday. They opened attack and stayed on top of proceedings but had to wait until the 39th minute before Emmanuel Dogbey scored their first goal. King Faisal fought hard in search for the equalizer but all their best chances failed to materialize. While the match was gathering momentum on resumption of the second half, a penalty kick was awarded Kessben in the 59th minute and the resultant kick was converted by Hans Kwofie for the second goal. Both sides played gamely then after but it was not until the 84th minute that Bernard Kwofie managed to pull back a goal for Faisal through a penalty kick. The two sides continued exchange attack although it was Faisal who were more aggressive but unable to find target until the final whsitle.
