Not really, coach. South Africa plays a very fast paced long balls game . Ghana plays more like the Brazilian team. The Ghanaians play a more holding onto the ball while attempting to move towards the goal post game. Occasionally, you will encounter players who can dribble with their heads down, refusing to pass balls and go for self glory first. Ghana has an ordinary team but can shine when you least expect them to. A very unpredictable team. The goal keeper is quite good except for aerial balls( he sends Ghanaian hearts missing a beat each time he is catching an aerial ball). All in all, the team starts slowly at tournaments and picks up with time( you are lucky to be meeting them early). The team needs a psychologist to put them in the right frame of mind. The team is allergic to opposing teams playing defensively. It throws them off and leaves their coach bereft of ideas as to how to penetrate the defense and bring the ball to the goal post. The team has individual talents but the coach does not know how to get the team to gel as a team for success. So there you have it. Anything is possible with the current Black Stars!
