Police National Football Club (PNFC) were held to a 1:1 draw by PAC Academy FC in their Week 23 fixture of the ongoing Access Bank Division One League at the Senya-Breku Astro Turf on Saturday, 21st March 2026.

The match, which kicked off at 3:00 PM, saw PAC Academy take an early lead in the 12th minute of the first half, putting the hosts ahead with a well-taken goal. Despite the setback, PNFC remained composed and reorganized tactically going into the second half.

Their resilience paid off shortly after the restart, as striker Franklin Owusu found the back of the net in the 51st minute to level the score. The equalizer sparked renewed energy in the Police side, who pushed for a winner but were unable to convert their chances before the final whistle.

PAC Academy’s Rashid Nuhu delivered an outstanding performance and was deservedly named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match.

The game was played under good security. No incidents were recorded throughout the encounter.

The result sees Police National FC continue their campaign with determination as they look ahead to their next fixture in the league.
